Wells Field Studies Centre is part of the Environmental and Outdoor Learning Team within Norfolk County Council's Children's Services department.

Wells Field Centre lies close to the Quay in historic Wells-next-the-Sea.  We have been working successfully with young people for 40 years and the Centre is available all year round to support Norfolk schools through curriculum related day and residential courses.

Visits to Wells are very much considered to be ‘holistic’ with an emphasis on participation, green lifestyles, cooperation and respect for both people and places.  Visiting children can become involved with cooking, clearing up, gardening and Eco-Centre tasks.  We create experiences to match the needs of the children and visiting staff. To find out more please explore our website and feel free to Contact Us for further information.

We also provide courses and accommodation for Non-Norfolk schools, Colleges, Universities and special interest groups where capacity exists.
